Use Cases
Attarous multicahain API — a universal API-interface for NFTs, that solves the problem of integration and management of NFTs in games.
Dev panel - high level management panel for game studios where they can create a project and manage all items and storages. We are creating an SDK for browsers as well to help developers easily integrate our product into games or NFT applications.
Use case #1
Below use case describes how connecting web2.0 games in the genres MMORPG (WOW, Tera, Lineage, EVE) or Battle Royale (Fortnite, PUBG) to Attarius Game API works.
These games have different basic attributes:
- Characters
- Skins (weapon, character, pets)
- Hard/Soft currencies
- Items, lootboxes
Let’s consider as an example, connecting to Attarius API a game such as WoW.
They want to create NFT for items, skins and characters on Ethereum, Polygon and NEAR. Each item has unique traits (power, color, levels, compatibility with different types of characters). Each character has unique traits as well (race, type, ect).
Game studio will prepare metadata and via Attarius API will mint that NFT across multiple chains without coding any blockchain integration or smart contracts (as Attarius provides an easy to go solution with all default settings suitable for no coding).
Players will use marketplaces on that chain (external software) to purchase NFT.
Attarius API will help game studios to link player and player wallets on different chains (SSI), for game backend to understand in real time what items are available for this player and use any particular item inside the game.
Game studio CEO says:
We are a classic game studio and our developers are not specialists in blockchain systems. When we have decided to create blockchain based game, we faced with a lot of problems - how to create marketplace for users, which blockchains should be supported, how to create smart contracts, how to manage assets for NTF, etc
Attarius API will significantly reduce our development costs as we do not need to develop any blockchain stuff. This API will allow us to use already existing marketplaces (open sea, Rarible, Paras) and services.
Use case #2
Below use case describes a cross chain transfer of NFT.
Let’s consider as an example games such as collectible or card games and betting.
Card game
Card games like “Hardstone” are able to run across multiple chains and in a game session use cards from different chains at the same time without necessity to transfer NFT to one chain.
Collectible game
Idea of such a type of game is to collect a full collection of items (football player team, space astronauts by country, etc) to receive some kind of reward (meeting a real celebrity, etc).
Game developers start the collections on different chains with promo from the main NFT marketplace on the chain (paras, metaplex (solart), etc) with help of Attarius API to focus on business level, not on tech level. By focusing on the business and marketing side, they can launch unique collections on different chains, expand their audience outreach, but still have their NFTs not constrained within one chain, but be connected within one bigger ecosystem.
Game support level UP feature - collect N cards of one type and upgrade it to next level NFT. End users are able to purchase cards on different chains, transfer to one chain and use a level up mechanic after.
